The New Mobile phone Samsung Galaxy Grand will run on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS. As Rumored the device will have a big 5" WVGA TFT LCD display with the screen resolution of 400 X 800 pixels.
Samsung Galaxy grand will be powered by 1.2GHz Dual Core processor and it comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage (expandable up to 64GB). Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz), Wi-Fi HT40, USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0 + LE, A-GPS, Glonass and DLNA. It comes with the usual set of sensors like accelerometer, light and proximity sensors, gyro sensor and a digital compass. The Samsung Galaxy Grand is powered by a 2100mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand comes with a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front camera capable of making 720p video calls. The Samsung Galaxy Grand will be available in both single-SIM (GT-I9080) and dual-SIM (GT-I9082) variants.
Samsung has not yet revealed the price or the launch date of the device. Hopefully it will be a mid-range device.
